Eudora Pro 4.x Configuration

Eudora Pro is a commercial e-mail application available for a fee from the same people who make Eudora Light. This procedure will explain how to configure Eudora Pro 4.x to Check Your eticomm e-mail.

  1. Go to Options from the Tools menu.

  2. Click the icon for the category Getting Started, and enter the following information:

    Replace domain with your domain name. For example, if your e-mail address ends with "eticomm.net", then your domain is "eticomm".

    Real Name: Type your name (optional).

    Return Address: memberid@domain.com

    Mail Server (Incoming): mail.host.eticomm.net

    Login Name: your Member ID

  3. Select Checking Mail and enter the following information:

    Mail Server: mail.host.eticomm.net

    Login Name: memberid

  4. Select Incoming Mail, and enter the following information:

    Server Configuration: POP

    Authentication Style: Passwords

  5. Select Sending Mail, and enter the following information:

    Return Address: Enter your full e-mail address (memberid@domain.com)

    Domain to add to unqualified addresses: Leave blank

    Smtp Server: mail.host.eticomm.net

  6. Click OK.
Eudora Pro is now configured to check your eticomm e-mail. To check your mail, choose Check Mail from the File menu.
