Instructions for SECURITY OPTIONS
You can select the following options to provide increased security:

Check if you are on a public terminal and want to expire page views
If you are logging on to mail from a public terminal or from someone else's computer, you can select this option to prevent the browser from saving (caching) the pages you view. Note that Microsoft's Internet Explorer can be set to ignore this "expire page views" command, so it is still possible your pages will be saved.

Check if you want to Remember userid & password and avoid intrusion detected notices
This option will save your password in a file (called a cookie), so you do not have to enter it each time you log on to Web Messaging. When you log on, the browser sends the password in a cookie.

Enter secure mode
Click to enter secure mode and protect your mail communications. A prompt asks you to confirm that you want to enter secure mode. Click Ok to continue.

You can click the link at the bottom of any Web Messaging page to return to normal mode. (You will see this option only if Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) security is enabled on the mail server. )
